Very excited for the Outsider season finale. I binged the hell out of the season up until this point. My kind of show!

Started HBO’s The Outsider last night. It drew me right in. I’m digging Jason Bateman’s darker roles.

We’d do that but instead of punching we’d push hard under the sternum, up against a wall. It worked well.

Looks aside, St. Vincent is leagues ahead of anything Alanis could ever dream of putting out. 

People call her the David Bowie of our generation. A musical chameleon unlike any other contemporary female musician, and she rips on guitar. Check her out, please!

As much as I love St. Vincent she’s not that popular. Try making something people want to watch and see what happens.

Have you seen her videos? Or her stage performances?? There is a lot more to St. Vincent than her music alone. Honestly, to think that an artist should only specialize in one medium is ignorant. Personally, I’d gobble up anything she produces, no matter what form it takes.

Same. So glad I didn’t inadvertently become part of that tribe, mansplaining life to poor innocent victims before that was even defined as a thing.

Guilty. Loved the movie, but I don’t remember the score at all. Maybe that was the intention, to not be so intrusive or overbearing?

I can’t remember the score for Joker at all. Is that a good things? Like, it’s not supposed to be intrusive or overbearing?

Parts of 1917's script made me roll my eyes a bit, but I won’t mention anything specific since you haven’t seen it yet. And I went back and forth on the one-take being immersive vs. gimmicky throughout the whole movie, and still do. As impressive as it is, it tends to overshadow the story itself, looking for breaks.…

Wait isn’t Triumph one of Conan’s old bits? When did he jump ship? Don’t get me wrong, I love Colbert and Conan equally, but I wonder if Conan would be a bit miffed by it.

This Is Us adds schadenfreude, so the audience gets to revel in every character’s misery. And isn’t it mostly women watching that show anyway? I gave up on it cuz as good as it is I got sick of watching the whole entire family suffer through every episode. Literally nothing good ever happens to any of them.

And he looks like Anthony Weiner! Coincidence??

Yes!!! Saw this on tour and it blew my mind. And Stop Making Sense really solidified my love of The Talking Heads. I think it’s amazing that David Byrne keeps going so strong after all these years, seemingly still getting better with every new thing that he does. Can’t wait!
