That's kind of bullshit. it's like calling a bike that has 4 wheels but handle like a bike and looks like a bike and rides like a bike a car.

I want to make it a REQUIREMENT for people to take CAR CONTROL COURSES as part of Drivers Ed. And then give everyone who now can actually control their own god damn cars, at least a car that can do a 6.0 second 0-60 and at least decent acceleration from 70-75 mph so they can accelerate , brake, and avoid people.
I would argue that if they switched back to the hydraulic steering, take out some of the electronics, and make the suspension a bit more firm, it would be just as good as the cars before even with the new engines...
I would but the 1M is so god damn expensive now... and it's only going higher... Wish I had the money to buy one instead of the 135i I got :/
Have you driven a E82 1 series? They're pretty damn old school...
Probably not a Jalop. Maybe it's just someone that saw his website and emailed him.
At least in this case, the presumed extended warranty would actually make sense.
I see that you're on a windows 8.1 tablet.
And in comes Uber and Lyft which just disregards all of this with a cellphone using navigation.
Well, not the ones for cheaper cars too well since I only got one friend who's working in a Kia dealership as opposed to Mercedes, BMW, and Audi dealerships. I can guarantee you that anything that touches on the line of luxury brands makes the dealership 5-10%+ per car on average.
They'll give you a good loaner car while the car's out... The dealership usually gives something they have...
I know, it's funny how much bullshit is in that video. Sure, if the dealerships mark the cars down a ton like those under $10k Kias, they might only get $100 out of it... hell... they can make $0 and just take that as a advertisement fee for just drawing the customers in...
Dealers make more than 1% margins on each car sold... even for the cheap ones...
HAH. Ya. Sorry for this BULLSHIT Advertisement.
So that's why the other unreliable cars that would cost just as much to repair and are as unreliable as the land rovers still cost the same according to Doug?
Even so, you can go to a 3rd party specialized garage and replace most for like $1-3000 depending on the car...
That's true, but the depreciation curve slows down A LOT after the first 6 years...
So.... you're saying that new cars doesn't have to have wear and tear items replaced? Most car warranties (from the factory) doesn't cover wear and tear items...
Eh, that's Carmax learning from Doug. Other companies do it through other 3rd party warranty guys.... and I'm kind of betting that Carmax's got deals where the repair costs over the cost of the warranty is paid out of pocket by the policy seller.
4 year bumper to bumper warranty for around 3-4k should cover everything...
