Nice! That was nice of them to let you keep the car too cause normally they don't let you do that lol.

There's basically two kinds of Salvage titled cars.
Yep. That's how it works. Hell, sometimes they'll salvage the car even if the repair costs are less than cost of the car.
Well, the Boss had compound sticky tires and other small modifications... give the E92 M3 some sticky tires and you'll see it catch up immediately... But ya. Mustangs are one of the best performance for the price point though.
Well, You would want less negative camber up front then since the car isn't going as fast so there would be less positive camber gain in the corners...
I respond to answers because I'm like the hundreds of other people who likes people to ignore things I say.
How do we get the road to be as empty as when they filmed it or when top gear filmed it?
Is it me or does her car have WAY too much negative camber in the front?
I seriously don't know how motor trend got those insanely fast times... I've NEVER seen a 228i hit 5.0... most reviews put it at 5.3-5.5... I only hit 5.4 in the 8 speed auto which is rated faster... (and I believe it cause it's almost as good as the 135i DCT)
The 2 series is a bit more balanced (less understeering issues) than the 1 series. They're not as "nimble" and "fun" as the FRS/BRZ because their limits are so much god damn higher and you actually have to get on a track to let the rear end slide out... (just like how the 370z/128i/35i/228/235i/g37/etc isn't as nimble…
So guys... With the cost of the supercharger... (roughly 4-5k with fmic/install costs)... why not buy a BMW 228i (starts at 34k)
You can get a used loaded focus ST for like 2-3k more than the Elantra GT that'll WAY outperform the Elantra GT... still gets a pretty respectable 32 mpg highway... but you get WAY more power that's actually usable lol.
But you can get good features and semi decent (ok... not 40 mpg highway but still 35 mpg) out of a fiesta ST... which you can find NEW decently optioned Fiesta ST for under 20k (if you're willing to shell about $800-1000 for shipping)
Maybe if they designed better engines that doesn't suck... (although the Genesis coupe 3.8 is actually pretty good although overpriced compared to mustang/camaros for similar interior and performance)
Sorry man... The Veloster Turbo SUCKS ASS. The engine is trash from the terrible torque curve... You don't feel torque until you get into the mid 3k range and then it stops pulling hard at like 4.5k... 1k of usable rev...
Honda civic doesn't got the power! Unless you mod it. Which then having a spoiler and a body kit makes it faster as opposed to actual engine mods.
Cruising on the highway at like 2000 rpm will definitely get you decent mileage lol.
Need to see the torque curve on a dyno... Although Ford's turbo engines has been pretty damn great in recent years.
