I've never been into JRPG's, I just wish they had put the effort in to make Digimon Rumble Arena worth anyone's time. It could have been good if they even wanted it to be, but they didn't. It was clear from the first trailer they wanted to use Digimon fans, not give them what they really wanted.

yes, but you have to be in the middle of a race, simply put, they can't jointhe first race you are in, but they can be in the second, it's a strange system.
Technically you can have your friends join you, just not before a race has already begun.
It could still be great though, skyward sword was promoted the same way, and it's my favorite game of all time.
