Game Maker: “We have listened to fan complaints and have changes some aspects of our game accordingly.”

Russians and people in Germanic helmets working together?

As an acrophobe (Victory Tower was not my friend at Ft. Jackson), this is exactly why I will -not- be investing in VR tech.

...I mean, I will eventually, but I won’t be purchasing software that requires me to save a cat sitting on a 2x4 suspended from the lip of a high-rise.

I have a cat, and I love that furry

Unpopular opinion time!

This is actually one of the best reasons to do what people have been saying for years: Classify interactive media!

Yo, Netflix, pick this up and make it into a 12ep, 1h episode series.
I’ll pay extra
Ok?
Thanks.

I would say that everyone at Valve is a gamer. We love games, and there’s no reason we wouldn’t want to make games.

Immediately thought of this.

I stopped playing Destiny back in November, but I don’t see why it’s a bad thing that people don’t a reason to play the game nowadays. The game and its expansions gave me 250+ hours of entertainment and plenty of those hours were filled with fun w/ friends mixed in with tedious grinding. I get that this is an Shooter

...especially considering that Godus Wars has been delivered as a free update to hundreds of thousands of users and the lower purchase price of the main game we understand previous Godus owners frustrations with this.

I’ve got a title for anyone interested in writing a biography for Molyneux:

IMO, if you pirate games, you aren’t a gamer, plain and simple. You don’t support the industry, you leech off of other gamers, sequels are less likely to be made directly because of you, and frankly, you are just a bad person. If you can’t afford games, then well...guess there are other hobbies for you out there

Maybe I’m old school, but I absolutely detest video journalism. Nothing against your attempt, Mr. Klepek, but I believe it to be an evolution the needs to be un-Darwined. I enjoy Kotaku because it’s one of the few geek sites that still write way more often than they make a video. I would’ve loved to read the article,

One big thing would be bumping up all the raids to a year 2 standard. All enemies and rewards would be up to year 2, but you still have the “classic” raid for the lower levels.

I really wish people would stop complaining about Destiny. I picked it up about 6 weeks ago, just got my first character to level 40 + 260 light, and I could not be happier with it. I’ve had tons of fun, the game is gorgeous (I actually stopped mid-mission last night to just gaze around Mars for a minute or two) and

“...oh, well, here’s a tiny box of raisins leftover from the Festival of the Lost.”

that was not the voice i was expecting to come out of pikachu

Have you played it? I have, and I’d have happily spent $60 on it. It costs $40.

And here’s what Episode III looked like without visual effects:
