Started playing Skyrim in VR, I thought I was 16 hours in... I was actually 60+ hours into replaying it. It's a compelling experience if you like open world games with lots of exploration. The sense of feeling like your inside the world of Skyrim is nuts. And btw I did it from my couch.

No, the Steam Link allows streaming from another PC. I have a gaming PC , so I only need to buy the Steam Link. If you didn't have a gaming PC, you could just buy the Steam Machine and put it in your home theatre.
