It’s weird how both female-led MCU films are flashback movies taking place in the past.

Ok first off I would have gotten Jack Black for the brother and have Emily Blunt’s character be the boat captain.  That’d make it like 10x more fun right off the bat.

Probably my most anticipated film of the year. Can’t wait to feast my eyes on this one. Everything—from the trailer to the marketing materials—have seemed tailor made for me, even if I occasionally find A24's formula a little staid. I’m glad it seems to work here.

Nun ja, wie du und ich sicher beide wissen, hat er unseren Hass mehr als verdient.

Oh please no. Don’t make him internationally famous. He is known here in Germany for starring in and directing some of the worst high-budget schlock you could imagine.

Well done, killedmyhair!

I like how once Rita is out of jail her speech patterns slowly start to change. We start hearing a tiny bit of a Texas(ish) accent.

I just love how Vin Diesel threw out the word “Felliniesque” as if that descriptor has any bearing on the Fast and the Furious movies (which I happen to love). What does that even mean? It’s like words no longer have definitions. Anyway, I find the whole situation Kafkaesque.

“Coming this summer: Fast & Fellini. Not starring Dwayne Johnson.”

Well, given Steve Zahn’s character’s age, and the fact that his father died when he was a teen, this means his father very likely had AIDS when that disease emerged in the early 80's, and at that time, it was predominantly found in the gay community. I’m going to give the writers the benefit of the doubt here and say,

My issue with Ryan Murphy is not so much how he only writes stereotypical, mostly white gays (although that is obviously a problem.) It’s that he seems to have deep disdain for any gay man in his shows. Other than Pose (even in that the most annoying character is the twink dancer) his work features gay men at their

Hey, Robin Lord Taylor! The one actor who understood what Gotham was from the beginning.

Got mad “Ride of the Valkyrie” vibes from the music when classic Loki conjured up his illusion.

Natalie Holt’s work is beautiful, melancholy, otherworldly, bombastic, clever....you name it. Brilliant stuff. They finally released Vol. 1 of the Loki Soundtrack (Eps. 1-3). Been listening to it all morning.

I really hope her career explodes after this show the way Ludwig Göransson’s did after “Black Panther”.

This episode definitely gave me big “Sylvie’s gonna die”/doomed love story vibes.

This episode definitely gave me big “Sylvie’s gonna die”/doomed love story vibes. Although I also wouldn’t be surprised if they just separated her and Loki in a way where they could reunite them again in season two if they wanted to.

I loved Loki’s reaction to Kid Loki killing Thor was, “Hm, Respect.”

Old Loki, why must you hurt me so?! That man really created an illusion of his home one last time and went out laughing. I already miss him. (Also makes me wonder if there is a Loki out there on an isolated planet who never came back to Asgard.)

Except if its Rise of Skywalker, then you scream “WHY!”

I see the fatphobic pieces of shit are out in full force in the greys.
