Aidy Bryant is too adorable to be real.
God, I love everything about this movie. Rewatching it last weekend was the happiest I've been in months.
It also deserves a nod for Best Supporting Performance by a Sandwich
You guys make fun but you know what would make this scene work? A little song called “Hallelujah.”
First of all, that shirt is hideous. Second, fuck Chris D’Elia.
Ok. Overdue, but I’m done. For those who haven’t gotten there already, it’s time to move past the comfort of ambiguity and on to processing (or not processing) Allen’s films as the work of a depraved individual whose sicknesses and entitlement was supported by money, power, and the perpetuation of a personal myth. The…
Update: Armie’s been disowned by his parents, Sledge and MC.
still amazed Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin got to finish out their plots with those ratings.
I like Kat Dennings, too. I just think there’s a point at which you pull the plug on a character who doesn’t have anywhere else to grow.
loving the campy queer elements, I know everyone wants answers, but I preferred the mystery of the first episodes and hope focus remains on Wanda. I don’t want all this build up of strangeness to suddenly be rushed so everyone can make sense of it.

Back in the day, you didn’t have to build an entire website to advertise your ability to help dudes explore a “powerful masculine flow.” All you had to do was wear a yellow bandana and loiter around a general area for an hour or two.
Eh, I don’t really think that’s fair. They had to do something to get Kate off-screen due to extenuating circumstances, and they left it pretty ambiguous so that Kate can show up again in case Ruby Rose wants to come back. To say nothing of the fact that Sophie and Julia are both still around, and that the producers…
Love her. Anytime Watkins shows up in a role I perk up. I dunno, I like her energy. She’s wonderful in The Unicorn and especially in scenes where she’s playing opposite Cordry, who is doing maybe my favorite work of his career. (I like seeing him play a fussy, kind dude instead of a high-energy sleazeball, y’know?)
OK, I’m a day late, but Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist season 2 premiered Tuesday night, and it’s not covered here, but it was the best show I saw last year.
The crux of the argument is that of representation. Let’s say you have a trans character: there are hundreds, if not thousands, of wonderful trans actors who very rarely get roles because there aren’t many trans characters, and having one of those rare trans roles be played by, like, Jared Leto denies them yet another…
