I hear you! I also don’t think Logan really cares about Roman being on his side but it would just be a win over the other two. Like taking the children from Caroline was more about her losing than genuine care or love. And yes, love means a whole lot on this show, just not to Logan.

It’s so sinister the way Logan goes in on Roman to get him on his side and, more importantly, once again seperate him from his siblings. 30ish years in this family and that might have been the moment Roman finally realized that love means shit. It doesn’t count for anything here. That knee fall might have been more

wow, recast? that’s unfortunate!

Even if there is a possibility of violence and death in this world, there is something much more welcoming about this show and its characters than what I usually experience with fantasy settings. After six episodes I’d say this is probably because a) the story is quite female centric in all the right ways aka nothing

Funny enough, Hamlet is also what keeps popping up in my mind when watching. The guy is burdened by his father’s ghost (and how great was that father anyways? was he as great as Hamlet makes him out to be or...?) to avenge his death and no matter what he does, it amounts to nothing. Always disappointment. Too much

One of the greatest things about succession imo is that when you watch it the first time, you laugh. People say outlandish shit, make crude jokes it’s funny, it’s so fucking funny, right? And then you start thinking about what was actually being said, what is actually happening and it all becomes so so bitter. Even

Being new to this whole universe I thought Stefan’s story was pretty effective, like, depressing as shit but very good to establish just how deep such a bond is supposed to be. Also a great episode for Lan in that way.

haha! I think so as well. Some people in the comments are discussing stuff that happens in like five seasons from now and I’m still trying to remember everyone’s names

As someone who has no idea what the books are like I gotta say- really enjoying myself. The first three epsidoes build nicely on each other an I’d say this one was my favourite yet. The ending was very cool, I only wish they had the soundtrack to back it up as the screen cuts to black.

next week’s promo looks like a horror movie which, honestly, is in line with how I’ve been watching succession for the last few weeks- peeking through my fingers, laughing uncomfortably

fucking delighted by the season 2 ending!

The Karl and Frank interactions are killing me, man. How long did Frank have to be on that stage? Nobody knows for sure!

Can’t believe I put off watching this show because quote “I already know what’s gonna happen”, this is no Tudors...

Yes it was! Here is to actually being a team next season!

ten episodes at once is not good for my health!

Okay, so like, you know at the beginning of Hamlet, when he tells Claudius “I have too much sun” and it is a play on words because of their weird family status? And Kendall tells Josh his dad had “too much sun” after hanging around his son for the entire day surrounded by an air of increasing anxiety and discomfort?

Connor, the sibling you hate to love

Truly cannot put into words how uncomfortable and anxious every Logan-Roman interaction makes me. Also- what does coming out on top even mean at this point?

100% this!

Great! CXG is probably still one of my favourite completed shows ever. Hope they bring back some of its cast members (one can dream, right?)
