My Nexus S is only my second Android phone, and my first was the Magic when they first came to Canada...and it still works, it's just too old now for my taste...point is, maybe you chose cheap Android phones, but that's up to the manufacturer, not the OS. You have to choose wisely!

I was about to say that...Apple just copied Android's notification Panel and it's multitasking functions in basically the same way too...and Google has not sued yet...
