Oh, good, she didn't write it.

With peacock, if you scrub through the tv episodes and watch all the commercials and then restart the episode, you can watch without the commercial interruptions. But you can’t close or minimize the app.

I watched a couple of movies in the last week and there were ads just at the beginning. However I also watched a few episodes of the Kids In The Hall revival and there were ads dropped in every, I don’t know, 6-8 minutes or so, without any attention paid to natural breaks (between sketches, say, instead of right

This doesn’t feel right. Let me try to make it a little more AV CLUB:

As long as the free shipping doesn’t get intermittent delays, I could not care less about a few ads.

I’ve only noticed ads for an Amazon show or maybe two before a show, less than a minute. Is it happening more during shows that I’m not watching? Because it’s just a minute before the show and I can get through that by pulling my taffy or refilling my Mr. Pibb

I haven’t watched Amazon since the switch, but do they front load the shows/movies or do they interrupt throughout? I can accept the Peacock way of doing things. Sprinkle ads throughout TV shows like the old days and front load the movies so there are no breaks. But what I truly hope is that no one pays for the

$5 million is a pretty low ask. I’m guessing they are optimistically hoping to get grandfathered in to the ad-free tier.

As much as the idea pisses me off, I have to say that at least they get all the commercials out of the way before the show starts, so it is not interrupted by commercials.

Per other reports they also nixed Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos from the standard tier. I assume that’s going to get added into the lawsuit.

Don’t companies know that people don’t want to watch advertisements during their programming?

Maybe if you’re moving the bike around a parking lot at a snail’s pace.

I don’t think it can steal cars, but I wouldn’t call it “harmless”. There are plenty of nefarious uses for the Flipper zero.

2024, TikTok discovers Counter Steering. Film on You Tube.

Sometimes it’s January, and you got a sitter, and your wife doesn’t want to watch the Beekeeper. I would say that was 95% of the audience the night I saw it.

Yeah, it’s a whole conspiracy — my motorcycle wants to go to college, maybe do a year of volunteer work. I’m trying to convince it to spend that time in a casino in Atlantic City instead...

Quality has always been inconsistent. Early MCU had The Incredible Hulk and Thor 2, and Iron Man 2 and 3 were both mixed bags. Meanwhile, today we have high points like Loki and Guardians 3.

If all of the Microsoft exclusives are going also show up on playstation and PC, remind me again what the selling point for the Xbox console itself is?

That’s definitely me. I have both consoles, PS5 and Series X, and I much prefer using the Series X over the PS5. It just seems more user friendly and more functionality. I’m also surprised how much the PS5 has locked behind PS+, I haven’t gotten to use the advertised features because I’m currently not subscribed. I

Yeah, I can’t imagine you could get a plane off the ground and land it like that without some flight school under your belt.
