Why do you want to hear it directly from me so badly? You claimed that I “believe JK Rowling’s money feeds into Anti-Trans ideology and violence towards trans people.” Show me where I said that. Show me where I claimed she is causing violence and hatred towards those I want to support. Show me where I called anyone a

Perfect example. I remember a friend told me that Eric Kripke said in an interview he had a plan for five seasons (he said this while the show was still in its first season). But the show was successful enough by the end of season 5, that the CW wanted more. And clearly, the studio that produced Supernatural wanted to

Answer the question.

I’d really like to see TV seasons treated more like movies. You do one that tells a satisfying story with a beginning, middle, and end (no cliffhangers!), and if enough people watch it, you figure out how to make another one - as opposed to so many shows that have a beginning, a middle, and then leave like five

No one is respecting it. But network television doesn’t work like streaming, or even cable television. They have to adhere to specific limitations and appease multiple entities that “prestige television” writers often don’t have to. Even something like a season being 12 episodes instead 22 isn’t typically up to the

They were on the CW. There’s only so much superhero stuff you can do in eight days with half the budget of an episode of Law & Order while chasing teenagers’ eyeballs.

I wouldn’t “blame” Gunn, but I would question his and Safran’s decision to apparently not approach anyone involved with the Arrowverse. I’ve said it before, but even if you thought the writing for all of the shows was terrible, what they accomplished - an interconnected comic book universe culminating in a crossover

I’m sure there are plenty of disgruntled former and current employees that would love to take a pop at Elon Musk. Maybe not murder but a solid wallop to the face. It amuses me to no end that he has the self-awareness to realize he’s given lots of people a motive to hurt him, but not enough self-awareness to stop being

It’s a marketing gimmick. If you really want to become an extra in your favorite show or movie, 1) live in the same city as the production and 2) be available M-F.

Well, I for one am sure this project will be the breakout post-Avengers hit the Russo’s are looking for.

They will get Chris Pratt.

I know this is your job

he should have been punished as much as a certain actor who hit him on stage at the humor free Oscars - he provoked the attack.

if somebody comments on my hair I get to have my husband commit felony assault on live tv also with no consequences.

I don’t think he’s being judged as the bad guy in “all of this;” he’s being judged on the merits of this special itself. I watched it myself, and while I laughed at a few things, it was pretty hacky overall.

I’m not sure I follow. The sentence is saying the worst people on social media loved the special - which I take to mean people that are already awful on social media (posting bigoted things) loved the special. The part in parenthesis is qualified with “probably” but its placement makes me think that the AV Club staff

I hope you understand that 1) many sources only come forward under the condition of anonymity because they fear retribution. If they can’t stay anonymous, there’s no story at all. 2) If a publication discovered that a source had a grievance, they probably would not use them as a source without some other evidence.

Show me where I said any of the things you’re claiming I said. Show me proof that I “believe JK Rowling’s money feeds into Anti-Trans ideology and violence towards trans people.” Show me where I was hating on something everyone else loves.

I am extremely correct, and you are an extremely uninteresting person.

I mean, that’s objectively not what that sentence is doing. They (I guess whoever actually wrote the article is afraid of getting slapped) are saying people who are bad for other reasons loved it. Of course, the implication is that people who love it are bad by association, but they’re not outright calling anyone bad f
