@Kinja, why the f*ck are you letting „RockHard“ keep commenting? The greys are turning into a Stormfront comment section.

The „ war on terror“ was a bad naming choice by President Bush. It was a war between the US and AQ, which had shown itself capable of striking the American mainland. Refusing to fight a war against an opponent who is actively inflicting massive civilian casualties on yr territory is a recipe for thousands and

1. You had brought up the legalistic approach, which is why legitimacy matters. Foreign troops entering a country is not inherently an act of war—an act of war is when they enter forcefully and against the wishes of the country’s government. In order to consider NATO’s actions in Afghanistan illegitimate, you would.

I don’t understand why some of his employees walked away. Namely, why would someone who was going to get that upset about removing a Confederate statue, have wanted to work for a Black man in the first place?

1. If you want to go the international law route, please explain how the Taliban were a more legitimate govt than the Northern Alliance, which welcomed NATO.

In both cases (Fox and WSJ) there’s a pretty big gap between the actual reporters and the chattering class of op-ed writers/talk show hosts. I’m sure there’ll be plenty of talking heads at the Journal itself who will think the arrest was justified.

Ah, good point.

Seriously, WHERE DID SHE GET ALL THAT? Her family didn’t seem to be unusually rich, and I don’t know what incomes she ever had apart from George VI/the Crown’s property.

I think the claim was that the Taliban would be angry because he boasted about killing a number of their soldiers.

This is so completely absurd that I don’t even know where to start.

How can you hold the ideas “91% of Black men do not have sports-based financial aid” and “without affirmative action, there will be no Black male students left” at the same time?

And a history of violent behaviour. If it’s not only Harry that he’s assaulted, then there will come a time when the Duke of York scandals will look like the good old days.

The 25 ‘people’ you’re so concerned about were Taliban soldiers. The leap of logic required to think that violence committed IN ACTIVE COMBAT automatically translates to a propensity for domestic violence is staggering.

I wouldn’t be worried if I were her. Once you graduate high school, Matty Boy loses interest.

Making a deal would’ve required thinking that the Republicans would’ve held up their end. I’m certain they wouldn’t have.

If you really wanted to go the Pete Townsend route, you’d have to insist someone else was viewing it, get a warrant to look at all of their property, find they hadn’t viewed it, and then announce as loudly as possible that it looked like they HAD viewed it, because you didn’t like other things they’d viewed.

Let me guess—it’s the ADL‘s fault?

I hope so. He seems nice, and Brad Pitt seems psychotic.

Much closer than McCarthy...

I’d say that is worth celebrating. Gym Jordan will never look normal or reasonable. McCarthy might if he keeps his mouth shut.
