As someone who is pretty ignorant about Africa other than some aesthetics in the super broad brushstroke sense, the Africa sci-fi look they pulled off was one of my favorite parts in the movie (I had a lot of favorite parts). It’s cool to see it done through a different lense than Western Europe or Japanese.

This goes to show how stacked the main event scene is. There aren’t too many other eras where seven dudes can hold the crowd’s attention for two straight hours.

This would’ve never happened to Oh Canada...

I share this opinion. Disconnect your attachment to the Mario franchise and this is one neat looking film. Plus the goombas crack me up.

I too am a fan Pooh Bearing.

Perhaps dress like Tony Macaroni, Houston’s resident 70s-style pimp. He walks around the Galleria about twice a week in the craziest ensembles, looking for action.

I remember seeing that back in the day and was all, “heh can’t wait” and then I realized I was the same age as the Olsen Twins. I had a lot of growing up to do basically.

As an A&M graduate, I’d love to say this doesn’t represent how their students behave, but this is pretty par for the course.

It’s going to be a Wreck-It-Ralph kind of story where it’s about the behind the scenes of the video game and everyone gets along and races go karts and stuff. Then some outside threat comes and the Mario characters have to work together to maintain the status quo. And the outside threat is Smithy. Or Wart.

That could’ve been me!

I legit thought it was the dude that owned Girls Gone Wild.
