This is THE problem. When you say “Donald Trump has a history of bad business practices” or “Hillary Clinton actually has contributed to charitable institutions” and they say “I don’t believe that”, what do you do? How do you combat that? What source would get them to listen?

My libido has also not recovered:( I think it’s a mixture of anxiety and being worried all the time. I can work for like 10 mins before I start thinking about the election again and, at least for me, it takes longer than 10 mins of focus to get into the right mood and start feeling good.

This is not intended to make fun of your plight but for a second I was confused and was like “Agent Orange? What did Donald Trump do to him?” and then I got it. I’m going to call him that now, seems appropriate. I’m also calling my congressman!

That and the fact that she actually applauds Carly fucking Fiorina made me completely brush her off. This is actually supporting women just because they’re women and not because they deserve the support. She also could have taken this chance to denounce Trump. I mean seriously, this is so safe it’s meaningless.

Where are all of the lemmings who cited Hillary being corrupt as a reason she couldn’t govern? Over 50% of WHITE women who voted at all, voted for him. And if they are not actively racist and sexist then they looked at his platform thought “well, as long as I get mine” and became complicit. They might not be actively “racist white supremacists” but they sure support those who are.

If their values are centered on racism, white supremacy, bigotry, and homophobia I couldn’t care less how undervalued they feel. I’m not going to try to empathize with my oppressors and it’s disgusting for people to be suggesting this is what I need to do.

I’ve actually heard people in the muslim and LGBTQ communities in more rural areas say that they really appreciate the safety pins. It’s both a sign of solidarity and helps them feel better.
