Indeed it did. There was a Sherlock-feel to the whole thing that I absolutely loved. The Doctor/Clara dialogue had a lot of Sherlock/John in there.

Also, also - the best use of music we've had this season.

Was anyone else reminded by the Teller very strongly of the Minotaur? Somewhat similar conceit, and in many cases the physical character model was minotaur-ish.

Can we assume that "take out Chinese food" is the Doctor's equivalent of the Oceans 11 "stare at the Bellagio fountains" post-heist reward.

"I was hoping for minimalist but I think I came out with magician." Beautiful line.

I want Saibra and Psi to find a way to travel to Victorian London and run a scam opposite the Paternoster Gang.

Favorite line from this episode: "Shutitty up!"

So much mental traffic in the universe. Solitude is the only peace.

I think I like best how Capaldi's Doctor can be just as manipulative as past ones but just so much more open about it, even bragging about what a selfish jerk he can be and using that air quite well so it helps give him a fun new edge that makes this series so refreshing to watch.

It is an awful lot of awesome to wrap one's head around.

You say "battle," but this is creating great free publicity for both franchises (perhaps deliberately?).

Awesome, good luck with the fifth one. ;)

Cool cool cool. I must admit I didn't understand all of that, but I hadn't heard anything before about a link between having viruses at an early age causing autoimmune disease leading to Autism, that sounded really interesting and important. Am I just out of the loop or what?

Currently it's nothing except the resources I've used up and the help I've given to friends and strangers. Insofar as I haven enabled them—in George Bailey fashion—that is the whole of my cultural legacy to the future.

Pepper Pots. It is your time to shine.

Steve and Tony both in one movie? Doubtful. Tony rides off into the sunset with Pepper.
