When the show ends, it´s gonna be interesting to carefully study all those aesthetic details that accompany and enrich the story. It´s astonishing how out-of-place Lydia is, but still she goes and gets the job done. It obviously disgusts her, but her power hunger is stronger than that.

And, in typically brilliant Walterian fashion, he bought a lottery ticket using the coordinates as lottery numbers. Oh Walter, you devillish genius, you

Yeah, I think Jesse will be the redeemed one. Walter will fall. And eventually he´ll realize all the hell he has let loose.

Look like creatures from an Art Deco reimagined MegaMan! Awesome

Exactly! The first three books had a great story arc; the narrative had a particular flow, and even the heaviest philosophical/idelogical discussions felt as a natural part of the books. But God Emperor of Dune became unbearable. I have no idea what happens in the other books.

Whatever the label it might get, Breaking Bad should be reviewed here on io9. It has great, memorable characters, and it involves a very questionable use of scienctific knowledge. What you guys can do is, after the show ends, you could possibly write several articles discussing topics of the show. Kind of a Breaking

"Don´t believe in yourself! Believe in me, who believes in you!" Great story indeed

A cartoon miniseries would be brilliant.

This is simply incredible. Totally immerse you in Arrakis.

Dune was brilliant. Dune Messiah/Children of Dune had interesting ideas. But I have to be totally honest: i couldn´t get past the first half of God Emperor of Dune.

the teeth of the sheepshead fish. it´s just so uncomfortable to look at it. unsettlingly humanoid

"Come on! Come on, little one!"

Steve Roach, Brian Eno and Matthew Cooper should compose the soundtrack.

Great list. My favorite ones would be the "You bow to no one" line from RotK; and the Louvre scene at the end of Vincent and the Doctor. I would´ve included Gandalf´s "I will not say: do not weep". For not all tears are an evil" also from RotK. It´s tremendously powerful.

The excitement, for me, comes from seeing what a versatile actor he is; specially in The Thick of It/In The Loop, but also Children of Earth. Just because of his acting skills, i feel it´s an amazing casting choice. But before the announcement, I had no idea he was such a passionate Whovian: so i guess the combination

hoax or not, that´s a horrible picture. it´s truly disturbing.

xD it´s a bit weird; i also tweeted capaldi should be the next doctor on july 20th!

first watch torchwood: children of earth; then watch the thick of it in its entirety. he´s a brilliant actor.
