I’ve seen a QB pass to himself a few times in high school games, and it’s certainly been known to happen in the pros (notably, Brett Fah-vruh’s first NFL completion), but not for a touchdown, and certainly not in the playoffs. That was nuts.

I saw Rickey hit a leadoff triple for the Newark Bears when he was 44 years old, and it’s still one of my favorite memories of being at a baseball game.

As a hardcore seven-year-old card collector in 1992 (I would eventually amass around 30,000 cards, and then forget all but my favorites by 2001), I remember it as when there started to be too many manufacturers, and when most of the cards were very ugly- that honestly might have been the worst year for card aesthetics…

How can you even appeal that? Not literally, of course- every player has the right to appeal every suspension- but how can anyone possibly think that will be overturned? The fact that he wasn’t ejected was already far more than enough leniency.
