My n52 BMW 128 (cheaper step sister) just hit 150. I replaced the Vanos pumps(easy) Camshaft Sensors (easy) and the oil filter housing (easy). Knocking on wood its been extremely reliable and still smooth.

My 128 does this, when it freezes then you might break your window, kinda a crappy option.
