Nice work. You call me a moron, but have nothing intelligent to say and can’t even offer an argument. Good job embarrassing yourself.

Everyone (including the pitchers!) used steroids.
I really doubt they’re into the fact that there’s a baby in there. It’s probably the shape of the woman’s body (and the bigger breasts that come with pregnancy). Lactation... who knows.
This is a really wrongheaded effort at being woke. Not only because the Vegas victims were not all white, but you’re creating some bizarre heirarchy of the relative social importance of massacres by race.
Should you really be reporting on this at all? This is just what garbage like Jones or Ann Coulter want: say outrageous crap, get coverage, continue to stave off irrelevance.
Yeah, as are you. What’s your point?
How about this: if you manage to offer one intelligent counterpoint to what I said that actually proves what a moron I am, I will shut up. But as long as you just keep having a little childish hissyfit, I’ll say whatever I want.
Okay, I see: you’re arguing for the sake of arguing.
Well obviously you think so, since it’s your “zinger.” But no, it didn’t. Because it’s really obvious I was talking about Avatar and not a movie with little sequel potential. It’s kind of a general joke, but not a burn on me at all, since it only sounds like you don’t get what I was saying in the first place.
I know that’s the public idea of it, which is why she is using it. Even in the movies, where nothing about guns is realistic, silenced guns still make a sound. Fact is, they still dampen the sound. This writer on the AV Club is using a widely known colloquial term.
Not accurate because it doesn’t fully silence a shot? Again, she is using the better-known term. Most people know a silencer means, and probably know it still produces a sound.
Well it was a pretty poor attempt at making fun, since it made no sense. And as I pointed out to someone else on here, “adjusted for inflation” is a very unreliable metric to use.
Hmmm... no, I don’t think I will. I mean, aside from the fact that this conversation is over a month old and I was done talking, I have made a 100% valid point, and all you have is that stupid, petulant response that doesn’t make any intelligent counterpoint at all. You really should take your own obnoxious advice.
No, “silencer” is the more colloquial, better-known term. It doesn’t mean anything beyond that. She also doesn’t say that the SHARE act has anything to do with this shooting, although it will certainly have something to do with future ones.
This shit also needs to be politicized considering that today, house Republicans were poised to pass new pro-gun legislation that would make mass shootings easier than ever before. This shit keeps happening because it doesn’t get politicized enough. Goddam coward Republicans (aka NRA lapdogs) will do nothing outside…
Why pigeonhole him? “Shkreli homunculus,” “GHB enthusiast” and “oily trust-fund pig” are all perfectly acceptable.
Emmy-begging from Family Guy? That sounds weird (no sarcasm). What’d they do?
Shoot, couldn’t edit my comment in time to add: as I already said your “point” relies on accurate counts and record-keeping from pre-computerized 1930s-onward, so total tickets sold is a worthless metric.
The FBI defines a mass shooting as a single incident in which four or more people are shot. Don’t get too caught up in thinking a mass shooting has to mean dozens dead. Going by gunviolencearchive, there have been 337 mass shootings in the U.S. This year. What the fuck, America.
I know I’m late to this argument, but “mansplaining” is an incredibly stupid buzzword that should be dropped from the lexicon. For two reasons that I can see: (1) it’s become so overused it’s now essentially meaningless. It’s now used to describe any time a man corrects a woman on something she genuinely has wrong, or…
