2018 should already be underway! If you live in a district with a Republican incumbent, hook up with your county / state Dem party and help get candidates on the ticket. All of our amazing ire does us no good if we aren’t also doing the work to get new people in office.

I think that it’s harder than just walking away or even breaking a contract. I work in partnerships - you invest a ton of time and energy into something, and you get to know the team that you are working with very closely. You see the effort that is put into your project. You build relationships, and that can be hard…

My point is moreso that even if you don’t see major electoral changes in 2018, it may not necessarily mean that there haven’t been major improvements in terms of how the country aligns itself politically.

I’m delighted to see this. One because he’s a tool, and two, because it shows that folks in these red constituencies are actually standing up for the things we all want for each other and ourselves - namely human rights, healthcare, and education.
