Wwill I personally enjoy SMW more than SMB3 but they are #1 & #2 respectively by a significant margin.

I’m going to have to kinda agree with most of your points but I do still really like Ghost Houses. The music needs a make over as do the graphics (I’d really like an entire game in the impressionist style of some of the outside ghost levels in w5, hint hint) and the levels themselves could do with some more visual

I went miitomo nuts until I got this game and that was it.

GOG runs most games in an emulator.

I've always wanted to know what cursing in squid sounds like :p

Eh, he’s eaten nearly as many 1up shrooms as his bro.  They're basically immortal now.

As an owner of the original.  All this game reminds me is that we never got a proper FF game on the GameCube.  Sone of the spells in this game are absurdly difficult to get off due to timing between multiple people going down to fractions of a second windows.  Wonder how they'll transform that to account for lag.

I loved the upgrade bloat and how much you could change not only other robot master levels but every Sigma stage in X-3.  Regardless, X4 is also pretty awesome.

Not true, there are actually a number of places where it doesn’t slow down where it does in the original release and I’ve had a considerable number of places where it skipped frames where it shouldn’t have.

I see a lot of anecdotes in the article about guys playing hard as they can all the time. I know guys that won’t play in coed leagues because they recognize they are either on or off, no in between for friendly toned down competition.  Personally I think it may be evolutionary but I haven't done the research to back

Pocket pairs beat an awful lot of better card combos.

Nah, you'll hear that as soon as someone decides to go public after leaving the company.

An employee that wants to keep their job better not publicly alienate their employers customers.

That’s when you have your pocket archmage/God of the party cleric/what have you open a portal to the 9th circle of hell under where just those three happen to be standing.

Kodor 1 really starts taking off after you get off the second planet. Everything up to then is tutorial and build up. Kotor 2, even with the community patch, has a lot of jank, but plays around with shades of Grey wonderfully.

I wouldn't call it surprising. The series has always been this way when you looked beneath the surface.

And it's statements like this that make me lose all respect for the man.

While queer characters suffer far worse from this, happyness seems to evade most characters in fiction nowadays.  I feel like it’s something that’s been hard to fix for a long time now and only getting worse.

I recently finished going through the abridged stuff again. Hopefully they finish the cell saga soon, it’s all wonderful.
