Great quick review Luke. I’m really happy to see more board game coverage here as it’s kinda exploded in quality and quantity over the last decade or so. If you get the chance to play Forbidden Stars I highly recommend it, currently it’s my favorite board game.

I would say Archipelago (https://www.amazon.com/Asmodee-ARCH01US-Archipelago-Game/dp/B009W2BLJQ) is closer to the next Settlers of Catan both thematically and mechanically but I do really enjoy Power Grid too. Highly recommend the Deluxe Edition.
