Honestly you see it coming miles away and is one of the cornier bits of the original’s story. Several other sections and side quests are worth the cost of entry alone.

I actually thought Goomba, not Roomba, when I read DOOMBA.

It’s still my favorite Kirby game. I feel like it got a feeling of speed and power through that simply doesn’t exist in the other titles (save sometimes the very end of a game). I actually went through it again about a year ago. Part of my love for that particular boss was via my obsession with JRPGs at the time.
