Clueless Hero: JRPG logic.
Clueless Hero: JRPG logic.
Of all the MMO’s I’ve played, FF-XIV is the only one where I have not enjoyed crafting. It’s just too tedious, it’s too easy even for experienced crafters to fail making high-quality items, there’s too many materials to take up inventory space (who thought having normal AND high-quality versions of the same materials…
But... Barbara WAS Oracle... how did...
While in the previous games I’ve always been more fond of a good sniper & SMG as main weapons, a good Torgue shotgun was always fun for ‘close encounters.’
And this is why I check the K-Pop Pick of the Day. 95% of pop is junk... but there’s that 5% - like Brown Eyed Girls, or Dreamcatcher - that are worth it! Now I’m adding Lee Hi to that list.
I know this all too well. Several years ago we had to say goodbye to a wonderful cat who had gotten too ill. I still miss that fuzzball. When we later moved, having a place that allowed pets was a must. We now have two wonderful cats, one of whom claimed me as her person. She’ll spend half the day on me if she can.
Tales of Bersaria is one of my favorite RPGs. If it takes a little more time to release another game, so be it. All I want is a game that captures me and I enjoy at least as much.
Emet was the best! Without him Shadowbringers would have been rather boring.
I could make a few nitpicky corrections (I’ve played through ShB 3 times, and been taking notes)... but you’re close enough.
I think the only way Anthem will ever be a true success is if it does what Final Fantasy XIV did - rebuild the game from the ground up with a project director who knows how to save it.
You have to leave a game running, for hundreds of hours... just to get a single item? Who thought this was a good idea?
I loved the music in Shadowbringers. In most of the game I often turn the music off, the songs just get too repetitive too quickly. But in our latest adventure there’s only a couple places I turn the music off (and even then it took a while for those songs to wear me down).
So... typical Spiders game - a mix of good and not-good. Lots of promise, but rarely reaches the potential it has. I’ll wait till it’s on sale.
Hah! I was going to say the same thing.
Spielberg did do a horror film (Poltergeist). If you look at his body of work, there’s a lot of variety. Bay, on the other hand... is not so versatile.
While I haven’t played DQ, I do know this pain. Good music in a game can be a delight, even causing me to extend my stay in an area, or even a battle. But bad music has me going to the sound options to turn it off.
Gawd, I love this stuff. I miss the days of cloth maps, or even paper ones, that came with games.
Why does this have to be a Switch exclusive? Anyone want to buy me a Switch so I can play this?
She makes more in a month than I do across two years. I got in the wrong business.
One of my favorite mini-quests in Final Fantasy XIV has you ‘weaken’ (beat up till heath is under 50%) a huge animal about the size of a rhinoceros... and then stuff it in a sack. And you have to do this three times. Somehow, when you turn in the quest, you are carrying THREE live animals the size of a rhinoceros.
