I don’t mind the change. Heck, if I was in charge I’d mix things up even more. What bothers me is that the show just did not look good from the trailer. Hope I’m wrong, but not getting my expectations up yet.

The first year will be telling if Epic has a hit or if will be niche like the Ubisfoft’s store or EA’s Origin. And let’s not forget there is still GOG out there, which sells games DRM free.

Sure, they look neat now... but in 20 years when they start crumbling to dust?
As an owner of two cats, I can relate to this.
Oh, so THAT’s where it came from. I’ve been seeing the fan-art all over the place and wondered.
What a sad farewell to a company that produced some of the best adventure games in recent years
Can’t really fault them for complying with the law. Hopefully, in time, the laws will be lessened in those countries (or, in Germany’s case, they establish better controls so they aren’t so worried about minors getting access).
Yay! Finally! I’ve so been looking forward to this!
Welcome back! We missed ya. Glad you’re doing better.
Oh man, I’d give Netflix ten more subscriptions for this episode.
If only I could give more than one star...
Meh. Not like either design is all that ‘original.’ I can easily go back through decades of old sci-fi paintings and find some very similar looking ships and styles.
Here’s hoping he makes a speedy recovery.
OMG... I have no idea why, but that made me laugh aslo.
The time to repair/refit a mech is rough, at least in the beginning, but otherwise I’m very much enjoying it so far. Feels like I’m back in the days when we had the hex maps and our metal miniatures out.
I would say, yes, give it another shot. At least finish the first episode (they’re only 15 minutes). My wife and I weren’t sure what to make of it at first, then we got to Retsuko entering ‘rage mode’ and death metal singing about her “shitty boss”... and we got it. We’ve been hooked since.
My wife and I weren’t sure what to make of it at first. Then the first time she entered ‘rage mode’ and started using explicit lyrics to describe her boss... we got it. This show is f-ing awesome.
Sooooo... are we allowed to bring our own cats along?
I wasn’t sure what to make of DitF at first, but something about it just kept me watching. And now I’m glad I stuck with it. I’m hooked, and I keep telling people who turned away from the excessive fanservice that it’s worth giving the show a chance (which I understand, I almost gave up on it too).
