Almost every search I did on Microsoft I couldn't find what I wanted in the first few pages of results. I would then run the same search on google and find exactly what I wanted in the top 5 results.

@Bonsai_halcyon: Quick access to turn off and on wireless via SBSettings is the main reason I jailbroke mine, one touch to get to the wifi and BlueTooth settings.

My dad lives in the boonies and only gets weak coverage (Verizon) so he bought an external antenna to plug-in to his phone, still no joy, so next he welded the antenna to a cast iron skillet, ta-da, instant 4 bars :)
