Yes, I remember that. It was ABC 7. Then WOR 9 would show loads of monster flicks, sometimes the same one every day for a week. I, of course, watched each day! Then WPIX 11 had Chiller Theater on Saturday nights. It was great being a NYC-area horror/monster nerd back in the 70's. Good times!

Well Kronos is kind of a biological robot. But it's borderline, I agree. I erred on the side of including it because it's so weird and influential.
