Either crash damage or full replacement if totaled if I recall. I think if a mechanical failure caused a wreck then I think it was covered. It's been almost 5 years since I ran a track day requiring insurance so I may be a hair inaccurate but mostly correct. :)

I was insuring it for 35k also. And that was for the two days running at Road America. Was full coverage too.

I was hoping for a replay at 12.7% of the original speed.

This is why I always ponied up the money for track day insurance. It was like $150 for my 2010 Subaru STi but the peace of mine was worth it.
