These things need to be banned until the long term health-effect of living near them can be properly studied and vetted. There’s strong evidence of negative side effects from the constant low frequency pulse of the turbine’s motion. They built one near a friend of mine’s uncles house. His wife suddenly got herpes out

What I don’t like about these proposed combustion engine bans is they are being put in place without answers to some REALLY important questions:

I’m convinced 2016 was the season of “Humanity” that finally jumped the shark and that it’s only a matter of time before the studio cancels us for being too silly and unpredictable. Hopefully the reboot stays a bit more grounded.

We live in the weirdest timeline.

Yep, she strongly resembles both Symmetra and Mei to a lesser extent. I think the core concept is solid but it would need to go through two or three more revisions at least before getting to a finalized state.

Jesus wouldn’t associate with any party, but you can be damn sure he would be associated with specific parties for his actions the same way he was when he was alive on Earth. Good discussion!

Christianity has the greatest impact through individuals living out God’s love and grace— not in seeking power to force it on others.

Well to be fair, their best bro was walking on water ‘n stuff. Water into wine was always my favorite though, made equally ridiculous by super Christian weddings NOT having alcohol served. Like guys, your living God’s first miracle was saving a WEDDING party by bringing the funk. Let loose a little.

I don’t understand how any “Christians” get into the predicting game, when Jesus literally says that NO ONE knows the day or the time that the world will end. Like, the very source of the Christian religion says that no one will ever be able to know when the apocalypse can happen... I don’t know how it could be made

There are sooo many examples in the historical documents.

If my tax increase is not as much as my current health insurance payments, I would be fine with that. I think it is wise to approach Single-payer/Medicare-for-all with caution, but it’s still very much worth exploring. If we do make it work, a lot of people could wind up saving money and living longer.

By PC culture, I can only assume you mean the console-hating master race. You’d have to be a faithless heretic to play Skyrim on a console...

I like to think that CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, and Charles Williams would all be inside the convention instead of protesting it. At what point did Christianity decide that fantasy was forbidden.

I think you’ll be waiting a long time.

I am on week 3 with this TV. Love it. The price is the best thing, but all the reviews out there say how solid it is. I primarily bought this TV for its very low input lag. Can’t wait to hook up my Xbox One X to it in November. Friendly menu and settings.

I’m pretty sure this is the same TV that Wirecutter and everyone else is going crazy for this year. Apparently, it’s better than tvs that cost twice the price. TCLhas come a long way, and tv’s are mostly commodities at this point. I’d buy this tv, and if you’re seriously worried about it, buy an extended warranty

This is a bad opinion. This TV has Dolby Vision HDR and every leading tech site (CNET, PC Mag, Reviewed, RTtings, AVS) is basically calling it the best TV or best value of the year. It compares favorably with a $1500 Sony and none of the Samsungs have local dimming so they can’t compete with it.

I bought this TV shortly after reading the review by Gizmodo embedded in the page. It brings quality visuals, without paying Sony/Samsung money. Games and movies look great on this unit.

Didn’t they relocate the story to be set in the US? If so, then it’s not whitewashed. It’s just a localized adaptation, like Edge of Tomorrow and House of Cards. That is perfectly acceptable. There’s no expectation to cast Asian American actors, though it would have been nice if they had. If they had kept it set in
