I think the most recent usage of “unprecedented” that made me want to completely rip my hair out was when the GOP said that the Dem’s attempt to obstruct Cabinet nominees was “unprecedented”. Then they had the gall to say they’d never do such a thing after eight fucking years of doing just that.

Love love loved her. She was inspirational as a working gal in re-runs when I was home sick from school as a kid. My favorite role of hers was the mother in Ordinary People, she was amazing as the ice cold calm mother with the storm of sadness raging underneath.
