I don't take my cat to the vet very often but I do buy her the grain free food, which is definitely more expensive than Friskies. Sometimes I feel broke after a trip to the pet food store, but I imagine a dog would be even more expensive!

I have made it known to family in friends that I don't really want any kind of single-gender shower. Wedding, bridal, baby... my man has gotta be there or neither of us will be!

While I am years away from when I was a teen, I will say that I feel adults make way more dumb mistakes. I think teens just get flak for it because we like to wait with bated breath for them to mess up.

This is some Veronica Mars level stuff! too bad it's real life.

I really enjoyed the whole skit but for some reason Fallon's braces were the best part for me.

What about poor men who are having sex, whether it be with poor or well off women?

I majored in Gender Studies and I'm an ardent feminist/activist etc, but Katy Perry's Summerfest concert 2 years ago was maybe one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Did I mention folk is my favorite music genre, too?

Argh I might have accidentally dismissed your post but I meant to recommend it! Totally agree

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx would be a good couple. I could see both of them being kind of low-key about it.

"Pixieish harpist Andy Samberg and SNL goofus Joanna Newsom"

NOOOO to both Lowe and Jones leaving Parks and Rec. I know Ann's character was inconsistent, but still, its like your weird neighbor moving away after living next door for 20 years. You kinda miss them!

Re: paparazzi and Suri Cruise: do we really expect anything less from paparazzi? Can't always blame celebs for attacking them...!

And the fact too that he is bringing it up later and kind of out of the blue— trying to get attention back on him? Very manipulative.

yeah I noticed that too!

Oh, THANK YOU! Always soda, never pop!

yeah I think that was a bit overdone too. I think any region gets stereotyped in the media... being from the Madison and now Minneapolis everyone says "dontcha," etc in the movies ;)

That's a good point. I did wish they said "wicked" more often in the movie :)

I saw it last night. It was not as funny as I'd hoped and I do have to say it went a little overboard with McCarthy's profanity... to the point where it felt purely gratuitous. I did laugh throughout but I don't want to buy it or watch it again like I did Bridesmaids.

I read it as a joke, both that they write about it a lot and how media in general gives it a lot of coverage.

Bring it on. If I never have to wear real pants again, I'll be a happy camper.
