Matt Smith can pull off the look, too. I’ve seen photoshopped images of him as Thrawn and he’d be a spot-on match. Plus, he has way more gravitas and range than I think people give him credit for.

I actually think it’s more likely that it was Rex at the end. There has to be a way to connect Din to Ahsoka and Rex would be the more obvious route. I think Boba’s armor was a misdirect.

It’s funny, I loved Eccleston and Rose and when he walked away I was like no way will I ever buy this new guy as The Doctor. Within a few episodes I was like this is genius casting, this guy Tennant IS DOCTOR WHO. When he left and I seen who they were replacing him with? I was like no way is this going to work. Not…

Eccleston (and therefore, Billie Piper) was my introduction to Doctor Who, and thus will always be MY Doctor and companion respectively. I need to watch the later seasons, though.
