That’s pretty much all of television these days. You don’t go to the movies for a good story anymore (mostly), you go for the spectacle. Now that non-broadcast networks are doing TV that’s where you go for good stories.

Comedy episodes have worked for dark series like X-Files and Supernatural, I could see him pulling one off for Black Widow.

I can’t imagine them doing the show differently than they did. There HAD to be some separation there and what they did show was important to the story going forward.

Partly because he’s so tall, there were a lot more strike calls below the zone for him that would be strikes for others but should be balls for him. The umpires didn’t adjust for his height, that was a problem at times throughout the year too.
