If sci-fi fans aren't embracing Person of Interest it's probably because the show is on CBS and we aren't used to CBS shows being anything but carbon copy procedurals. Which is a shame because PoI is excellent, by far the network's best and smartest show.

Amen. I couldn't even finish watching the last season, it just kept getting worse.

I was hoping there would be something about Wolverine in here today, if only so that I could post this:

Oh. Guess I completely missed out on what his name was.

Who is Niall again? I was thinking they were going to make Warlow's kid someone important but didn't recognize the name.

Ditto for me.

Again? WTF, this wasn't that long ago.

I use my iPod as music storage in my car. USB port with direct iPod integration makes it nice and easy to have all my music all the time. If my iPod dies at some point, I will be buying a new one.

I refuse to see her as Denise from Full House. That's Jess from Friday Night Lights in my mind.

Don't forget to spread the smallpox!

Some of these are a real stretch at best. Most of them just aren't good actors.

I enjoyed it. It definitely did get better as the season went on but you still do have to temper your expectations a bit. It ain't Shakespeare, but it is entertaining (to me anyway).

Jurrasic Park was a great book, loaded with plausible science-y stuff (or at least sounded plausible to the non-geneticist paleontologists among us) and an entertaining story.

Slightly off topic re The Dark Tower: I'm a huge reader and like fantasy and sci fi but I couldn't get into TDK. I read the first one... or at least most of the first one, I can't remember if I finished it. I've never really been a fan of King's either aside from the Shining. Is it worth reading further in the

Even better, Bill Hader as James Carville.

Where is Needle now, anyway?

They changed it to Yara for the show so people wouldn't confuse Osha with Asha.
