I didn’t even know Bradley Cooper played Rocket. In my mind, he’ll be remembered for one thing, and one thing only:

Ryan Seacrest truly is responsible for all bad things, isn’t he?

We’ll all miss you, Yesha! Good luck on your next venture! I hope you still text Michael every Friday so we can keep getting our timely mailbags.

Jason Whitlock never fails to reach new heights of stupidity. It’s honestly impressive.

I felt it too! We literally just saw Issa in a previous episode getting shot down and brutally reprimanded when she tried to take some initiative and drive change. There has to be some fear of rocking the boat, especially when Issa’s boss was still avidly defending the graphic they were discussing despite the protests

Greatest of all time

What is he coming back from? Sitting out the Oscars for a year? There was an opportunity for everyone to hold his feet to the flames and bring up the accusations against him while he was out promoting Manchester by the Sea in the same way Nate Parker’s accusations were (rightfully) brought up and widely talked about ar

Definite yikes on colored women, but the sentiment still comes through. I’m always here for boosting WOC.

Someone please tell me that I’m not the only one who though that was Rob Lowe in the beginning, and not Justin Theroux...

Exactly. Fellow fat woman here, and I’m very bored of the idea of actors putting on fat suits (in which they always look extremely dumpy and frumpy for some reason.....) because there are still creators who see fat people telling their own stories as absurd and don’t believe that fat people actually groom themselves

You get me. Overall, she did a Good Thing™, but it’s hard not to cringe at some of the wording, which feels a bit lofty. She has the right idea, though, so I’ll continue to stan quietly and hope that she continues to use her social media accounts in this manner.

I love turkey burgers. I’ve been eating them exclusively for the past year or so in an effort to eat a bit better and mine have never been dry. I make them with lean turkey, finely chopped carrots and celery, an egg, and a sprinkling of Italian bread crumbs.

I’ve always been a cautious Anne Hathaway stan. And now, my watching—and enjoying—both Princess Diaries movies last weekend with my nieces feels like a valid choice.

Yeah, I don’t recommend hanging out here if you don’t have to, unless you’re in one of the bigger cities. My job takes me to a few different parts of southern PA, and the vibe in some places feels less than welcoming to POC. The confederate flag business is booming around here.

Absolutely. No place is immune to seeing instances of racist acts and ideas. It just kind of stuns me to see my smallish city mentioned on the Root for the third time this year because of a racist incident. I then couple that with all of the conversations I’ve had with white co-workers, friends, etc., about how they

I never thought of York as rural, especially when compared to other surrounding areas such as Adams County, but you’ve done well to describe the climate here. It may be less rural than some other counties, but it has all of the trappings of—and is influenced by—areas that seem to be allergic to diversity.

My condolences to Merrill’s family. It sounds like he was a good person and an ally for his friend.

Thank you for confirming that this is why we’re all watching Power. How are there so many insufferable characters in one show?! They all have to die, right?

Exactly. Everyone knew what they were signing up for when they decided to be on a show with Roseanne. She has been showing the world exactly who she is for years now and it finally bit her in the ass. I don’t feel bad that this show and the brand she created around it are crumbling, given the person she has become.

All of the articles/conversations I’ve seen over the past few days that touch on Donald Glover have reminded me of a few things:
