You wouldn’t pay it, and neither would I, but this *IS* the market price for one of these cars based on actual completed auction listings. Just a few years ago they were $10K++, and mileage doesn't seem to matter much! The people who want one really, really want one and will pay for the privilege.

Every car loan I have ever paid off except one has had the option of having the title overnighted for $15 or so. I have always taken that option. Most of them STILL wait 10 days to actually send the title though, even with a bank check.

Maine doesn't really have emissions testing. You can't have a CEL lit, and in the two most populous counties there is a gas cap test if your cap fits the state mandated test gizmo.
