You are confusing criticism with censorship. Encouraging people to ensure portrayals of rape are thoughtful, sensitive and/or non-exploitative is not censorship.

Equating a desire for sensitivity and critical thinking with censorship because it may result in fewer rapes appearing in fictional entertainment is not something I'd expect to hear from a "leftist".
I watched that a few weeks ago and just loved his performance… It was like he played Hitler as a man rotting from the inside out due to physical and mental illness.
You know (apologies for the incoming tangent) recently when looking at possible scripts for my community theatre, I read "Rossum's Universal Robots", the Ur-example of this kind of story, and was surprised by how much it had in common with Westworld, and how it offers some possible directions for the show in the…
"It was a show for autistics"
I don't see how people being able to read the clues the showrunners put in the show constitutes the show being ruined.
Also, the directions to Maeve's daughter specifically say she's in "park 1".
What would you expect from Cracked? They're the only website even more 'edgier than thou' than The AV Club.

One of the best things about his big scene in "Take Shelter" is that none of the extras knew it was coming… They just signed on for a free lunch. So when Michael Shannon started flipping his shit (and several tables), their reactions were absolutely genuine.
Both she and Anthony Hopkins are able to do so much with the smallest change in facial expression. Seeing the two of them kill it week after week has been one of the great pleasures of the series.
Ah, the return of the digitally de-aged Anthony Hopkins! Although, with no offense intended to The Master, young Ford seems to be considerably more svelt than Hopkins at the same age.
Also, it happened several decades prior to the events of the show proper. It's not beyond the realm of imagination that most of the employees or admins who knew Arnold have left, died, or have been replaced by "now".
"That's when we put in…. the pond…"
What really struck me was how naturally he was able to portray Jefferson's social awkwardness without obvious tics. It's not easy for a charismatic actor to play uncharismatic, but Dillane was able to pull it off beautifully.
The cast is a factor, too. Epps, Eddie Murphy, Oprah Winfrey, Kate Hudson, et al don't come cheap.
Naturally, this trailer is going to have a ton of people who have never left Toledo complaining that Andrew Garfield doesn't have an authentic Portuguese accent.
"Casey Bloys" sounds like the name of a supporting character on GOT.
The Man in Black also does it… Remember when he was interrogating Clifton Collins, Jr and warded off an approaching host with a "hail Satan"-esque hand gesture?
Or, as TVTropes puts it, "Narrowed it down to the guy I recognize".
