Speaking as a former server, I’m not a fan of tips being part of a server’s salary, either. However, addressing your service issues by adjusting your tip is really a passive-aggressive way of dealing with poor service and often puts the blame on the wrong person.

The “right now” portion was absolutely unnecessary to include, just sayin’. It’s never appropriate to be a jerk even if you do receive bad service. Handle it like an adult.
