Powerful yes.... Overpowered no... at least that’s my opinion.

Who ever said linear games can not be amazing ? I take a good linear game with a great story over a open world with uninteresting story any day.
You can get more ‘friends’ when you have a higher Steam level but other then that not really.
Even though the original Mirror Edge is one of my favourite games of all time (not in the top 10 but more like top 20), somehow I pretty much forgot about the Mirror Edge 2.
True, it’s one of my favourite indie games of all time but I still need 5 more achievements. Somehow I can’t finish the Depths and womb without damage and ofcourse I don’t have “platinum god” and “Eternal god” since you need the other achievements for those. There’s also 1 hidden achievement , not sure what that is.
It’s indeed a cheap gimmick but apparently one that works. I don’t know exactly why I like them but I’d rather not. I do not avoid games because i can’t get 100% but I’d rather play games that have them rather then not.
I have to admit that I do like achievements but I’d rather not.
Indeed, the same goes for achievements.
Sure. In a way steam levels are meaningless but combined with steam achievements it could be like in game leaderboards. Ofcourse for a lot of people these things still wouldn’t matter.
True, I just mean that Steam could’ve been a lot better in my opinion. Achievements would’ve been better if they were like on Playstation/XBOX (as stated in the article) or at least have some meaning to them. Right now it doesn’t matter how many achievements you have; you could have 100 achievements that are more or…
Achievements used to be a great feature just like Steam used to be the perfect gaming platform. Nowadays shitty games like this one get greenlit because somehow a lot of people will vote yes on about anything.
Not sure why Valve only thinks about this stuff years after they launched their trading card system....
Why would an X ammount of playtime equal to a positive review ?
I replied to PossibleCabbage who wants the Fallout New Vegas conversation system inside Fallout 4.
Yeah true I’d prefer Fallout 4 to have a silent protagonist aswell and that’s indeed possible but that doesn’t leave the fact that every NPC only has a few answers (with voice) or you should add a few answers without voice, which would be a little weird.
Yes you are right. Most of the time people with some time on their hands and want to spend it on something else than playing games will try to create something like this. Even though I applaud them for doing it, often there’s just too much work.... work you do not get any money for.
A new ‘conversation system’ wouldn’t change anything since it still has only 4 options everytime... well unless they add more conversations and make all voice actors come over again.
I don’t think I’m spending 500 hours commenting on this post.
Yes but you have to work to gain some money. I don’t think you get a lot of money for playing FF7 doing the same thing for years.
I can relate to this story. There have been many times in my life where something bad hapened and I just wanted to escape to a simpler life. I still often struggle with it.
