Yeah, I'm pretty sure that would be called prostitution. Which is illegal in a lot of states.

I meant so I can use them in running shoes (you can remove inserts and use socks in other shoes)

I'm thinking that socks or inserts would be a good idea. That way I can use them when I'm running or doing other activities not limited to cycling.

they probably could, however it needs to be activated by moisture (sweat) for it to work, and you better be pretty hot to be sweating for this to begin cooling. And I don't know if I would want to sleep on a wet pillow. On the other-hand I sometimes get one of those fabric ice packs and put it in my pillow case on hot

I think this has less to do with intelligence or desire to be connected , but more to do with disposable income. When you have the choice to surf the net or feed your family certainly the net will suffer. And in many of these places its hard enough to get clean water let alone fiber-optic cable routed to your block.

I hate to admit this, But although I loved reading when I was young in high school I kind of grew out of it. I then really got into gadgets and what not and when e-readers came onto the scene i thought they were cool and techie so I bought one and since i got my Nook a year ago I've probably read at least 35 books. It

I hope it comes to Sprint. However with the LTE I doubt this will happen until Sprint converts which who knows how long that will take.

Hmm I'm all for animal testing, but it seems to me that better science could be done using robots. I mean what happens when these instruments all detach themselves in a highly radioactive area? What do you send in to retrieve them? And why send living creatures if you are not going to study the radioactive effects on

I really see no problem with this. Moving towards using an Ipad or any other electronic device it how it should be. Sure, it may add some extra distractions, but with technology such as key loggers etc. one can keep an eye on what these pilots are doing with this technology. And as said before paper is hardly a fool

Wow, I never knew that. Thanks for sharing. (honest, no sarcasm)

This is terribly fascinating. And It is awesome that this technology was available back in the 40's (the shutter and the bomb). I wonder if this shutter tech has been applied to modern day digital cameras. Also I wonder what film is capable of getting such a good shot so quickly. i suppose it helps that the light

Hi Dr. Nick!

Remember, this only works if you have disk brakes. If your using v brakes you might get one good slowdown in before you mess up something expensive.

Im pretty sure that if this happened to me, although slightly peeved at first I would think it was pretty cool. I mean they are totally all going to get their just compensation and I would totally have a picture taken near the hole and have them sign it. ITS SCIENCE!!!!

Not mine, but still one of my favorites:

I will back that up as well. Works like a charm. I am not a doctor or a nurse, but when I worked in a Toxicology lab we had tons of saline IV drips for the test animals and after a nasty night of partying 10-20min drip would cure all.

Urban Outfitters is an overpriced paradise for sure, but to their credit since their sense of "trends" move so quickly if I like an overpriced shirt (usually $38) all I have to do is wait 3 weeks when it becomes "mainstream" then it will be on sale for $4.99. Their sale prices tend to be pretty good.

Class action law suit probably that the lawyers gets millions and the customer gets a $25 check, but due to the hit the carrier took on the law suit they will increase monthly plans by $10. Sucks to be a customer.

Jesus, I have to agree with you completely. Not only were the TSA actually awake on this one, but its not like they were hassling her too much either. They didn't confiscate it or throw her off the plane (at first) they gave her the option of checking it. But then this loud mouth know-it-all teen had to open her

Although nothing infuriates me more than hearing 2 million tweets about Kim Kardashian's break-up... THIS is exactly why social media is a great thing. Within minutes of an event happening. Pretty reliable information can be given to millions. Knowing to stay away from a particular location has the possibilities to
