FIGHT THE POWER.

I want to be offended, because when these came out I looked at them and really wanted to get one. But... at least in this case, I’m certain you are right.

I saw an ad the other day for a super clean NA Miata that was missing its motor. $5k. I’d laugh if this wasn’t the new norm.

I am all in, why not? Run a few tests on it, throw a few parts at it, if it works you win, if it doesn’t a guy like me who has never owned one learns to speak Mercedes, and it gets sold for around what I bought it for, or parted out

The Cignet was likely the most reliable Aston Martin ever sold. I bet all of them are still in existence somewhere having never been used; sort of like the bespoke tool kits that come with rich-guy cars.

If I drove this in Stepford suburbia, I’d be deathly afraid of those suburban moms driving Suburbans.

My reaction was a hard no, but I had no idea what others would feel, was glad to see I was not alone. Sorry but I think these are “impress others” cars more than anything else, people who are impressed by how expensive, fast, and fancy and new it is. Even if well cared for, once old the wow factor is gone, and they de

You need to try staying in better hotels, friend.

I never quite understood all the hate. These aren’t great cars but lots of perfectly serviceable cars aren’t great. In a world filled with anonymous, look-alike crossovers and SUVs in fifty shades of gray, the PT Cruiser’s cartoonish looks at least dared to be different. And the drop-top ramps up the cartoonish to

Until #vanlife happened, conversion vans (and vans in general, but especially conversion vans) had abysmal depreciation. Prices started to get goofy several years pre-’rona, and got more ridiculous since. I still didn’t think they had gotten this nuts. A quick search for comps suggests that this price isn’t as
