I own both... They are BOTH press and sip/Autoseal... The rotating lid is not used for sealing, but actually to 1) lock the button so it can’t accidentally be pressed and 2) cover the portion that you sip from, so that it’s not exposed. Now I only use my original Contigos when I’ve fallen behind on dishes
