I've ignored most of the horror movies of the last ten years, starting with Saw, through to Insidious, The Conjuring, Paranormal Activity, all that shit, but I have to say this looks pretty good. As modern horror movies go that is.

Nah, I'd say the snark on this site is usually very well done. Sometimes it can lack sophistication, and can have the sense of being made up as it's going along. Having said that, it always has a satisfying arc, and ends up being a pleasurable reading experience.
