I had a Yaris 5 door rental while I was waiting on my Pontiac Aztek to get fixed up. It’s a bit complicated, but my brother in law (at the time) was investigating illegal activity that may or may not have ended up falling back on to me. Long story short I ended up driving the thing into oncoming traffic.
Rented a Shelby Hertz GT-H. Changed the tires and rims. Removed the metal traction control defeat from behind the button. Drifted it for 90% of the allotted mileage. Put back on the original tires and rims. Returned it. Sorry to whoever bought it, but dang, that thing was fun.
I rented a car once. After opting for the rental car insurance on the rental agreement paperwork, I thanked the clerk for their time and assistance. For the duration of the rental period, I obeyed all traffic laws and proper motorist etiquette. Since I was only renting the car, and it was not mine, I was considerate…
It wasn’t a rental, per se, but one time these kids dropped off a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California at the parking garage I worked at. I knew they were probably playing hooky from high school and it was most likely their parent’s car, so me and a buddy took it for a joy ride around the streets of Chicago. There may have…
Just doing your jalop duty. Killing off Focus Sedans.
If you didn’t drive it actually in the sea, then it doesn’t count.
Farted continuously in rental Camry all the way from Montreal to NYC.
YES! Ford Driving Simulator. I think my dad got it at a car show and gave it to me for our 286.
I’ll take the opportunity to join in here...Not an SVR owner, but a ‘16 R Coupe owner...ride quality on the R is great, much better than my previous 997 and I would assume significantly better than a GT3. I don’t think the SVR is any different in that regard. The SVR, due to being AWD, is also more controllable than…

Propane is for dinner during the week, charcoal is for the weekend.
Oh, gas v. charcoal - I’m sure this thread will be a calm and reasonable sharing of ideas.
Member how excited we were about the CR-Z concept?
I would like to see an article on how many relationships GPS has saved. My now-wife and I went on a road trip around 3 months into our relationship back in 2006. I was a late adopter and did not yet own a GPS. My wife is geographically challenged, and at one point after becoming a bit turned and frustrated around I…
...and have the punter be the most interesting thing about the team. Still very much the Rams and still very much has Jeff Fisher’s mustache cream hands all over this shit-rope of a franchise.
Only the Rams could put 46 points on the board and still manage to punt five times in a game.
“You went 4 for 4 with 2 52 yard field goals in your debut. Talk about rhetoric as the counterbalance to dialectic in framing a debate.”
How do you get hundreds of millions? The most expensive Porsche is about $200,000 and there are very few of those. Let’s say the average cost is $150,000 which is high (that’s what a GT3 costs). 300 cars gives me $45 million. Am I missing something?
Superb. What else do you have in the warehouse?
