Once you've made the move to a primetime soap, there's no going back.

Point recognised and accepted. I shall leave my statement as written but admit its shortcomings.
Except he's Swedish, not Norwegian. Admittedly the show kept calling him Viking, which would make him Norwegian, but they repeatedly stated he was from Sweden (which is at least where ABBA are from).
Agreed. Eating disorders are tackled too rarely on television, and guys having them is still often regarded as a joke even in reality. I was eager to see where that went and other than him stating he had one, nothing really happened. Even in the first episode it barely seems to be a thing.
It happens twice in this episode alone, at the end of the pardon Selina asks where Marjorie's going for Thanksgiving and then at the end during the credits she asks where Marjorie spent Thanksgiving. Both times her reaction is "Oh that's where I'm from".
I grew up in the Friends, Frasier and Will & Grace led 90s, when even here in the UK, American sitcoms had taken over. And before that I used to watch reruns of The Phil Silvers Show on the BBC so I've been watching US sitcoms all my life. And this production order thing has confused me for years - it's just not…
Is Frank Lloyd Webber the guy who thinks musical theatre should be designed to harmonise with its environment?
I only smoke baboons!
It's a great song, and though the original is linked in-post, I feel compelled to post a link to The Beautiful South's version, which is my personal favourite:
I think it's perfectly fair to state that Frankie isn't "mom of the year". Firstly, she's clearly written to be perceived that way, and even if she weren't she's a mess even at the best of times. Well meaning? Sure. "Mom of the Year"? Not by any stretch.
Carry On At Your Convenience was always one of my favourites.
No mention of Logo airing the Eurovision Song Contest? C'mon guys, I badly wanna hear your reactions to it. Get a Liveblog going for it next year?
Yes it does - it sounds like Friends'.
I'll openly clarify myself as a fan too, I stream it internationally every Thursday morning when I get up. Love the show, love the music. Sure, it's a hot mess, but it's a hell of a lot of fun if you just embrace the crazy.
Arsenio Hall and Kelsea Ballerini? What a weird combination of someone who's no longer relevant and someone who hasn't become relevant yet (no matter how hard the industry is pushing her).
I assumed the season finale would either be Bernadette giving birth or Howard's gyro system getting recognised. Considering their relationship is currently the one with the biggest plot points now that Sheldon and Amy are back on solid ground, Raj's world is back to being a confused mess, and Leonard and Penny…
Damn Axl and his throwback to Cassidy. I had almost just about nearly gotten over it and now I'm back to rooting for her return.
"new showrunners Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz were reportedly even breaking stories with the writers already"
Will the AV Club at least give us a final check in for the finale, then? Because we keep being promised regular but infrequent updates, which happen on a once-in-a-blue-moon/whenever-someone-actually-bothers type of basis.
It sounds a little like somebody wrote that joke and then another member of the writing staff felt it wasn't accessible nationwide. Without the ABC/ABC duality, there's not really any reason to state "News" for the former, especially given that CBS was only named as the network, not the news division thereof.
