As long as Jimmy wins, that's fine by me. Would prefer if this was the first year the "large and overbearing" one didn't make the final, though. Alexander won, Samuel came 2nd, can Andrew please come 3rd this year?

As a Brit who watched the incredibly dull Channel 4 special, I cannot comprehend how this is meant to become a series. It was more than bad enough as a one-off.

Yes, however in SYFO (or 'Your Face Sounds Familiar', to use its international name), it's the same contestants for the whole series, they just impersonate a new act each week. Usually this will involve gender swapping but as was seen in one controversial clip online, has also included race swapping too.

What happened to the irregular check-in reviews for Nashville? We went from weekly reviews to monthly roundups and then winter happened and everything stopped. Will we at least get an end-of-season wrap up?

Animaniacs was my original childhood source of Gilbert and Sullivan knowledge, along with a great many other things I would become better acquainted with in later life.

It was a one-off, not a series. And it was just terrible. Sex we couldn't see, followed by awkward and uninformative discussions that said nothing and went nowhere about said sex we never saw.

Bombshell would be nearly impossible to stage for real, unfortunately, as almost every song is sung by the lead and she is in essentially every scene. You'll notice that this is pretty much never the case on Broadway, and pretty rare even off-Broadway.

Judging by this review, I am assuming that nude charity calendars are far less popular a thing than they are in the UK. Honestly, they're actually a fairly common occurrence these days. I've even appeared in one myself. Shudder. And that was in 2008, just months after this episode aired.

How do you dial an ellipsis? I'm pretty sure we don't have that function in the UK.

It probably says a lot about me that I haven't watch the IT Crowd in a few years now, but can still tell you that the emergency services are dialled on the number 01189998819991197253.

When do you get Carpet Diem and Boyz Crazy, then? Are they airing out of sequential order?

The reason, I suspect, that America in general sees Britcoms as being "broad" is that those are the only ones which manage to get much traction in the country. We actually have a great many sitcoms which might be considered more subtle, but they are either poorly received or poorly understood in the US. I recommend

As a long-term fan of our own British Bake-off, I was fascinated to see how CBS tackled it.

Firstly, I'd like to point out that I find it fascinating how this show has gone from a Patricia Heaton vehicle in the conception stages through season one, to the show we now have at the end of season four where she is possibly the weakest cast member, both in terms of performance and storyline.

I disagree. I AM a queer (no point being subtle I guess) and I would still find it weird and awkward and panicky after a person (gender nonspecific) who I had assumed to be my friend and trusted with my soul suddenly and without warning tried to eat my face.

There are two episodes left before the end of the season (and Axl/Cassidy's graduation) for Axl to come up with a plan to at least make Cassidy consider TRYING to make it work. Long distance relationships suck, but they're getting easier than ever. Not only do I love the pairing, I'd love to see how Axl tackles the

Separating this into a separate comment, because it's really about a different show, but this show is what SMASH wishes it could've been. Shame.
