She got stuck in the role and had a really hard time breaking out of it. It wasn’t until Anchorman that I think she got a chance to move beyond it.
Not surprising that there isn’t a single Toyota, Honda or Subaru on the list.
2 14 year old girls, so 8th grade or HS froshes, out past 2AM with 2 older teenage boys? Their D.D. was either also drunk or just a really bad driver, as well? There’s so many red flags here it’s impossible to count.
Is it just me, or does anyone else find these road side memorials kind of creepy? I get that a tragedy happened in that location, but putting things along side of the road where it happens is just odd to me.
Extremely tragic, but senior boys hanging out with freshman girls and getting drunk is already a horrible start to the night for everyone involved.
Doing donuts in an SUV, with its high center of gravity? Welcome to moronsville...
Where is that Good Guy With A Gun? I keep hearing so much about him, but he’s just never there when he’s “needed.”
I literally stared at the word for a good 20 seconds trying to figure out how to pronounce it. That’s a really bad sign.
Agreed - 100% this is about monetization.
God there is so much stupid flying around here.
Look, General, be more honest. You are doing this so you can collect data on occupants and sell it to data brokers. I might agree to those terms if you gave me a base Camaro for free. It’s just ridiculous that a corporation as large and as profitable as GM still has this drive to collect and sell data about the humans…
I used to like Noodles and Co., way back when the meals came with a smaller pasta portion and sides. Now, it’s just a giant bowl of pasta, unless you get the half potion, which isn’t enough, and their sides suck and are overpriced.
ONN, the finest name in ACTUALLY fake news.
I also think all the food shows and celebrity chefs like Bourdain, Fieri, etc. have made people more adventurous about trying hole in the wall places and food trucks. I’ve always said that Chipotle’s core customer base was white people that were afraid of going to the Mexican food truck for a burrito and now they’ve…
Yes, the cars designed by automotive designers and engineers are indeed safe. The Cybertruck which was explicitly designed to do away with engineering and crumple zones not so much.
Killing people that don’t buy into his bullshit is very on-brand for Elmo.
A Guzman y Gomez opened up a block away from mine. Faster, cheaper, better, has a drive thru and then there’s all the other great Mexican joints around me. Chipotle is just another meh chain now. Same level as noodles & Co.
I think a lot of people are gonna have to get used to the fact that companies took advantage of the economic disruption over the past few years to raise their prices and either pay more for the same thing(or less) or just not pay for the products.
It boggles my mind that “business knowers” somehow assumed that conditions (a huge increase in deliveries and people not wanting to eat in at restaurants) that were related to a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic would continue after the pandemic was over and we could return to our normal lives.
