NJ should implement its own congestion charge within about 2-4 miles of the NYC crossings. The bigger question why is NJ so intent on encouraging more people drive in it’s own communities?

Part of the purpose of the zone is specifically to discourage crossing lower Manhattan. There are no expressways down there (look up the LOMEX debacle sometime, and fuck Robert Moses), it’s all surface streets – Canal Street is home to some of the worst traffic I have ever seen anywhere on Earth. It simply isn’t…
They know, they just don’t want to build it. They’re only interested in making overpriced cars with higher margins, which can only so for so long. Then watch them ask Congress for a bailout for their bad business decisions.
I agree with this, but what I REALLY want is bland, blobular, mid sized crossover in 12 different shades of grey. Preferably with a cvt and some weird terminal flaw in the drive train that needs and immediate recall.
Well built, reliable, cars at affordable prices. They know, they just don’t like it. That is why they keep throwing in all those baubles and toys to try and distract us.
It’s easy: Wireless android auto/carplay, keep physical buttons for the important stuff (volume, all climate controls), a touchscreen (because that’s what carplay/android auto are designed for), physical buttons on the steering wheel, a dashboard display separate from the center display.

Some falsely call Kia Boyz thieves, but they are actually pioneers in finding out how easy it is to steal shitty cars.
These guys are as ‘pioneering’ as the 100's of people who climb Everest every year. There’s a certain personality type that gets bored and needs an adrenaline rush and some thumbs-ups on social media to feel satisfied. You give these types a nearly unlimited amount of money, and this is the result.
Riding e-bikes in traffic without a license, registration, and insurance seems kinda dickish to me.
I was more impressed by the airport. How many horses does it take to pull a plane off the ground?
I get it. I don’t want to knock anyone for getting out and being active, but these things truly are a hazard on the bike trails and roads around my city. Main issue is that they frequently cruise at 20-30mph on bike trails or on roads, but the people riding them are not experienced cyclists who have the kind of…
Most Michiganders love the fact that the Island is vehicle free and limits things like electric bikes. It’s part of the charm and history and one reason why people like to visit. Locally, this will most likely be viewed as a positive story than a negative. I sure do.
