It’s also worth taking a look at Westie’s Battlefront tips.

“I...didn’t say Battlefield is shallow?”

The combat is tactically shallow, the flying isn’t as good as it could have been, and it’s definitely a little light on content. Despite that, I’m over my initial disappointment and I’m having more fun with it than I’ve had with a game in a while. This game is a blast (pun totally intended).

“Then get a 1st gen PS3”

What the hell? I’m 6 foot 3 inches tall, and reasonably well built. I mean, I’m no Schwarzenegger, but I’m no Sheldon Cooper either. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t snap a SNES controller in half if I tried all day. How did your little sister manage to do that?

“There are six battles”

“I feel like the last gen versions of these games really don’t need to exist, either.”

“Behold, the NES special edition”

Thank you for pointing out the difference between “backwards compatibility”, and “free games”.

“Early Access buyers will gain access to all 13 episodes of season one (a week early, no less)“

“I think it’s worth pointing out this is only on the Xbox One.”

For Quake Live players that added the game to their library when the game was free, it’s still free. The only people complaining about the new price are people who hadn’t added the game to their library in the several years it has been available.

The big issue isn’t so much the fact that newcomers have to pay (for those that added Quake Live to their library when it was free, it’s still free). It’s that the existing player base has had all of their stats wiped.

“However, if you had played a game for a period of, lets say, 5 years and then you were asked to pay $10 to keep playing”
